How do I get an account?
1. Click on Log In. (upper right)
2. Click on NEW MEMBERS SIGN UP HERE.
3. When filling in the form you will be asked for a password. This password is temporary.
4. When EDU receives your request you will be sent an email confirming your account is activated.
5. Go to the Log In and put in the Email address you supplied us with.(Click here to see video)
6. When you enter the temporary password you will be asked to change it and confirm that change. That is the last time you need to change your password.
7. You can then make purchases.
8. If you have added titles to your Shopping Cart before your account is activated they are saved for 7 days on your computer and will be automatically added to your account. You can then continue shopping or check out.
The activation process should not take longer than one complete business day.
Why Am I Required to Log In?
Logging In to the EDU eStore will give you greater security, flexibility and convenience. By logging in, your web store activities will be saved to your individual account, rather than saved to your computer. This means, for example, that you can add items to your shopping cart today from a school computer. Add additional items tonight from your home computer, and finish your order the next day at school.
Paying by Credit Card?
Libraries are more than welcome to pay by Credit Card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. To ensure your safety please:
· Fax 416-674-6215 with your Name (as it appears on the card), Credit Card number, expiry date and the 3 digit number on the back of the card, or
· Phone and ask for Angelina at extension 226:

At check out:
· Select Purchase Order as your method of payment
· Enter the words Credit Card into the space where you are asked for your Purchase Order number, and
· Complete the order in the usual way.
We do not capture your Credit Card information in the EDU eStore!
What is a Shopping Cart?
When making purchases in the EDU eStore you use a virtual shopping cart just as you would use at a store. As you shop you can choose items and add them to your shopping cart or your Wish List (for future purchases).
What is the Dewey?
The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system is the world’s most widely used library classification system. You are able to search the EDU eStore by Dewey Number to narrow down your search. Please click here for a list of what subject area a particular Dewey number refers to.
How do I place my order?
When you are ready to checkout from your shopping cart please enter your email address and password.
How do you handle shipping?
Shipping is charged 9% of the total of the shipped and invoiced titles. If titles are backordered and shipped at a later date 9% of the total of those invoices will be charged at that time.
How are shipping charges handled for backorders?
Shipping charged is 9% of the total invoiced (School and Library price). If titles are backordered and shipped at a later date, the regular 9% of the total invoiced (School & Library price) will be charged at that time. Please recognize that the total shipping charge remains the same no matter how many shipments are made.
When will I receive my order?
Shipping Books from Coast to Coast from our Main Toronto warehouse, orders are usually shipped within 10- 30 business days.
Initial shipment is released with a minimum 60% fill rate. Any backorders following the initial shipment will be shipped to you immediately upon arrival to our Main Toronto warehouse.
Can I order titles which have not been published?
Yes. These titles are listed with a 2011 - 2012 Copyright date and will be backordered and shipped immediately upon arrival to our Main Toronto Warehouse.
Can I save my order to complete later?
Yes. When picking titles for your order you have the choice of "Adding to Cart" OR adding to "Your wish list". Wish Lists can be made into an order at a later time
Can I shop in person?
Yes. You can visit our Toronto showroom which is conveniently located near all major highways. Groups are also welcome for working lunches. Please see our website for more information on our showroom www.edureference.com or contact Head Office to speak to a showroom representative
How is payment of the order handled?
An official invoice will be sent out to the billing contact upon shipment of the material.Can I pay by Purchase Order?
Yes schools and school boards can use purchase order at the Edu eStore. There is a place for the purchase order to be inserted upon check out.
Can you provide processing?
Yes processing can be included with the order. Please indicate in the notes section if you need full processing or just Marc Records. Please note that there will be additional charges for this added to your final invoice. Please click here to see sheet with book processing pricing.
How to handle the premium offer?
If you wish to take advantage of the premium offer, please indicate so in the notes section of the order confirmation. Head office will make sure your premium is included with the shipment of your order
